THE FORMAT

Every Event Begins With A Theme
People arrive knowing the theme, but nobody knows exactly which stories the evening will produce.

Put Your Name In The Hat
If you have a true story connected to the theme, put your name in the hat. Names are drawn during the evening.

Up To Seven Minutes
If your name comes out, the stage is yours. Then another name comes out of the hat and another story begins.
Ten people. Ten stories. One room experiencing them together.
COME AS YOU ARE
Come As Strangers.
Leave Knowing A Little More About Another Human Being.
You don't have to tell a story to be part of Story Stage.
Come to listen. Come with friends. Come alone.
You don't need to know anyone in the room, and you certainly don't have to speak.
But somewhere during the evening you may hear somebody else's story and remember one of your own.
And if you think, "I have a story for this", put your name in the hat. You never know whose name will be called next.

8 October 2026 is our first Story Stage Hamburg. But the idea is bigger than one evening.
We're building Story Stage as a recurring experience where people can come together around a new theme, a new group of people and ten true stories that have never been heard together before.
Every edition will be different because the people in the room will be different. And the stories will be theirs.
